Oh my, I can't believe I forgot to tell you that Dad went flying in an aerobatic airplane and did - aerobatics!! He LOVED it! Well, he loved most of it. There were a couple of maneuvers that he had to recover from. One nearly caused him to lose consciousness, but he was alert enough to take a deep breath to keep from passing out. The other maneuver gave him a pretty substantial headache. But, all in all, it was exciting and fun and he'd like to go again sometime. The gals he worked with for WSARE gave him the flight as a retirement gift, so on the way home from Heber, where he went flying, he stopped at the university to report to the ladies how wonderful it was and to thank them for that opportunity.
