Puerto Rico was marvelous! Beautiful, warm, Spanish, and foreign! We spent our time with a favorite couple of ours and it caused me to reflect mucho about how blessed we have been our whole marriage with really good friends. We enjoy the association of stellar people. This was re-emphasized when I was sick. We spent all day on Saturday delivering thank you's to people who brought us dinner, covered church lessons, and offered to take the kids. What a blessing!
I don't think the boys missed us at all. They had a blast making duck tape weapons with Thomas, going on fun outings that Grandma planned, and attending Emma's play. We were sure glad to see them though!
Alex left again on Thursday for a FreeLife conference in Vegas and just barely got home this morning. He heard some pretty inspiring stuff and is looking forward to putting some new principles into play.
The boys and I went to see The Good Dinosaur movie on Friday and were blown away! Good story and excellent animation!
We've been talking a little bit about the Family Gathering. Let's start tossing dates around.
Can't wait to see everyone this weekend. We had fun at Victoria's bridal shower and it put me in the mood for further wedding party stuff! Yay!
