Hello everyone! Hope you have had a wonderful week.
Ours has been good. A little crazy but good. Stetson has discovered the joy of fishing. Like, it’s almost a problem. He’s completely and totally obsessed. Every time we get in the car he expects to go fishing and it’s a tragedy when we don’t. It rained some this week, so instead of letting Stetson run around the house with an actual fishing pole and wreck havoc, Cam bought him his own little pole. It works wonderfully, almost like a real one and Stetson loves it. It’s the first thing he thinks about when he wakes up in the morning and from his nap. It would be adorable if it wasn’t life and death most of the time. His word for fish is “what” so that’s also confusing. We’ve worked hard to try to get him to say “fish,” but since we know what he’s saying, he just continues to say “what.” Anyway, it is mostly cute, and when we do actually take him fishing, it’s the best time of his life. He loves to yell “reel reel reel!” When the boys catch a fish, then when it comes out of the water he gets as far away as he possibly can and says “all done… bye fish.” It’s pretty awesome. He’s a pretty fun kid. He’s definitely at the age where only his parents can really understand his sentences (mostly), and I love interpreting for him. He’s jabbering a ton and takes a lot of brain power for me to keep up with him.
As for the big news of the week, we’ve decided to move back to Kentucky. Cam and his brother have been doing really well with their business up here, but a massive opportunity out in Kentucky just kind of showed up out of the blue. It’s for a lawn mowing company and the owner is a member who has been looking for someone to take over the business for awhile now. He’s really excited to show the boys how to run it and hand it over to them in about a year. Cam is heading out to Kentucky to do some hunting and talk with the guy next month, so unless anything changes from that conversation, Cam will be moving out to Kentucky after Christmas and I will follow him after we’ve found a place to live.
That’s all for now folks. Hope you have a lovely week!
Every time a camera comes into view, Stetson yells “cheese!” Had so much fun playing with Grandpa, Grandma, and Jenn and her kids at the park the other day. Stetson was pretty intrigued by the witch at the pumpkin walk. She had a stuffed cat on her lap and Stetson happens to love cats.He didn’t really enjoy the pumpkin walk, but he sure loved putting his head through the holes.
Yes, we had to take the pole to the homecoming parade. This is a real fishing pole folks. Before the cute little one. We got some weird looks.
We went to Tony Grove to fish and show Cams brother and sister in law the view.
He’s just getting sooooo big!
